Hi, I'm Dan

I'm a student and aspiring UX/UI designer from Christchurch, New Zealand. I have a passion for design and technology, and I am always looking for new ways to improve my skills and knowledge in the field.

I have a strong interest in accessibility and inclusive design, and I believe that everyone should have access to technology and design that works for them. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Digital Product Design at the University of Canterbury, where I am learning about UX/UI design, web development, and other related topics. I am also working full-time at ANZ New Zealand in IT Support, where I am gaining valuable experience in the tech industry.

I've previously studied Web & UX Design at YooBee where my passion started. I've also spent time studying IT and Cookery (without much success due to past issues with mental health), after leaving study for 4 years and focusing on work, I found my calling with UX/UI design, as I want to be able to use it as a platform to elicit change for the better, with better adoption of practices in design for people with disabilities.

When I'm not consumed by study and work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing video games, and exploring the outdoors. I also enjoy , photography, reading, writing, and learning new things. I am always looking for new opportunities to grow and develop my skills, and I am excited to see where my journey

I'm also wanting to someday open a tabletop game cafe, where people can come together and socialise over common interests.
